Friday Fun
So this didn't exactly take place on Friday. More like Labor Day, but good enough. We had a relaxing day after the busyness of the past 2 days. The Davis Farmland post will be coming soon. But Monday was all about errands and doing some much needed things around the house. Like laundry. We bought Aiden his first pair of soccer cleats. Hit up Old Navy for some new jeans for Seth and then it was off of Toys R Us because the car ramp that Aiden had gotten for his birthday up and died after only an hour of using it so while we waited until we got the receipt from Seth's parents we just went out to buy a new one until we could return the old one. And we also made a pit stop at the mall play area so the kids could blow off some steam as well.

Friday Fun
(This was last Friday)
Now that Rebecca has her own push "car", as Aiden likes to call it, he is all about running round the stairs with him and having Rebecca follow him. He manages to get a few laps in before she finishes her first since you have to help her navigate around the turns. She hasn't mastered that just yet. Another thing that he likes to do is push her around when she is sitting in it. I love that hers has these little bars around it so Aiden can push her really fast and I don't have to worry about her toppling over..... like this.
Either way they have fun and we even get in on it. Seth and I will take turns pushing Rebecca. Chasing Aiden. He gets a hoot out of it and she cracks up laughing the whole time. The only time that she gets upset is when you stop. She lets out the biggest whien/fake cry ever. Yeah, she's already learning how to milk it big time. I love that they play together and I also love that it let sout a bunch of energy that Aiden may have pent up. Though sometimes it does get both of the kids riled up pretty good and neither of them know when enough is enough. This was last Friday.

(she toppled over right as I snapped the picture)

Arts & Crafts Time
One of the presents that Aiden received for his birthday was a Cars sand art project. His friend Hayley from The Mommyhood Chronicles gave it to him along with a Cars puzzle. There have been some many times that he has asked me to open it up for him and when I looked at it I didn't see an arts and crafts project for him to so I saw bag of sand that could get everywhere and make a huge mess that I didn't feel like cleaning up. However there are only so many times that you can push off a request. So when he finally asked me again to do the craft I finally said that he could. He actually did pretty well and didn't make that much of a mess.
Pouring oh so carefully.
The finished product.
Cleaning up.
